Plinth Block Options
Plinth blocks are small pieces of moulding or boards that are installed where door casing meets baseboard. Typically they are slightly wider than the casing, and slightly taller than the baseboard. They not only act as decorative pieces but serve a utilitarian function, allowing for thicker and thinner casing and baseboard combinations to be used where they do not intersect with one another. They also are an industrious piece that can take the abuse of power cords and children’s toys along heavy foot traffic areas!
