Have a more elaborate stair case? You’re likely going to need some fittings! Fittings are machined wood components that allow you to change direction, terminate the rail, or create a decorative element at the bottom of the stair case. If you need to transition the height of the rail or change the angle then you’ll likely need a fitting.
